About Elisabeth Emmerich, – Therapist for Moms, Kids, and Teens in Eden Prairie, MN
Elisabeth Emmerich, MA, LPCC, RPT™
Finding the right therapist can feel overwhelming, and you’re likely wondering if I’m a good fit. A strong therapeutic relationship is essential for effective therapy and meaningful change. It’s important to connect with a counselor who understands your unique needs—whether you’re facing anxiety, trauma, or navigating life transitions.
I invite you to get to know a bit about me and my approach, so you feel confident in choosing the support that’s right for you.
From a young age, I’ve had an empathetic ear and a genuine desire to support others. I specialize in working with children and teens, believing that a safe space is essential for fostering growth and change. I also enjoy helping moms achieve balance amidst the challenges of parenting. As a parent, you want the best for your child, and finding a therapist who can connect with them while supporting you is crucial.
Life’s challenges can feel overwhelming, but therapy provides a chance to find hope and make positive changes. My goal is to create an emotionally safe environment where you feel heard and validated. I strive to build an authentic relationship, making the therapeutic process rewarding.
As a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) and Registered Play Therapist (RPT™), I focus on anxiety, trauma, depression, parenting concerns, relationship issues, behavioral challenges, perinatal mood disorders, family dynamics, and life transitions.
Outside of therapy, I spend time with my husband and three children, enjoy long walks with my dog, and love exploring new restaurants and shops in the Twin Cities.
